A very tired day since it got quite late last night for a work-night. But, short day today so I can enjoy an afternoon in my home. Started to pack a few bits and pieces trying to get organized. Don’t want to bring too much and at the same time not leave something behind that I might regret not bringing.

Need to figure out what to make for dinner too – have to finish off the leftovers. But, I’m quite good att making something new and turn leftovers into something else.

After a long day at work me and one of my colleagues decided to attend the “Allsång på Skansen”. We took a long stroll over to the park (there was some sort of problem with the tramcars) in the lovely sunny weather. We had pre-purchased tickets so no need to stand in line. We chose the entrance with the mountain railway – perfect with a lovely view and no need to walk all the stairs. Lol. 

The park was packed with people and the show tonight was a great mix of all sorts of music and genres. Måns Zelmerlöw was one of the guests and he stayed on after the show and treated us another 30min with his new band. 

When we left the tramcars were working again so we could get a ride back to the central station and take the subway back home. A great evening in a lovely sunny Stockholm. 

My niece came to pick me up from work and also saw our new office. We then walked up to Kulturhuset and had a nice lunch from the Panorama Restaurant at the top of the building. We could sit outside and enjoy our food and a great view at the same time. 

After lunch we went window shopping in a few stores and then strolled over to Gamla Stan to take the subway back home. A lovely couple of hours together – good for the soul! 

Now we have bbq some pork for dinner. A sunny day and a great start of the week. 

Happy birthday, dear grandma. Today you would have turned 111 years old and we would have celebrated you with strawberry cake and put the flag up in our paradise. 

This afternoon me and M took a long walk up to Fruängen and via my parents on the way back. Took us about 75 min.

Now I’m tucked in my corner with a coffee watching soccer on tv. Can’t access the channel that shows our team’s game so I have to make due with another game. Oh well. 90+10 nerv wrecking minutes later we won 2-1. Yeah! That felt good! 

So nice with a weekend to enjoy! A day filled with chores – shopping, cooking, laundry, working in the garden, cleaning etc etc. 

We have had some wasp’s nests in our paradise. The first one was taken cared of within 24hrs by our insurance company – no charge. Perfect. Then my family found a second nest which we also have reported to our insurance company and hopefully they will tend to it shortly. Scary having nests on our houses. And big ones too. 

Bbq some picanha meat tonight and treated ourselves two kinds of melons for afters. Mmm. 

Woahh what a busy day! I worked non-stop for 6hrs and had lunch by my desk. But, we made it and managed to get the deal done. 

Got home in time to take my son to renew his passport. Hopefully it will be ready to be picked up within a week. 

We decided to treat ourselves to a movie and dinner at Heron tonight. The new Indiana Jones-movie was our choice and it was exactly what we had hoped for. And Harrison Ford is always good. After the movie we had dinner at a restaurant before we went back home again. A great ending of a very busy week. Now a whole weekend ahead. Yeah. 

It was raining cats and dogs this morning when I left for work but after a while it stopped and the day has been nice and sunny.

Our strawberry-plant has produced a couple of strawberries. Yeah. Not much but fun to grow something.

Busy long day but quite productive. A lot of problems to solve and I think I did good. Hubby had dinner on the table as I arrived back home again and I just missed another rainfall by a few minutes. Now a nice cup of tea and another episode of “True Detective” season 3. Shown on HBO.

I was so tired this morning I could barely get out of bed. And I didn’t get any new energy all day. Worked a short day fortunately and had lunch with a friend in town before I went home. Nice.

This afternoon me and M took a walk over to see to my parents house. Nice to get some one-on-one time with him and a nice chat.

Time to watch the “Midsomer Murders” we recorded last night. Have a great evening!

A very long and very busy day. Longing for my hammock and lazy days in our paradise! Ready for vacation now.

Made a left-over dinner tonight with several dishes from the fridge. Fried up some rice, beans, pork and tomato sauce for me and hubby and it turned out quite nice.

Tucked in my corner now and waiting for “Allsången” to start. I’m sure my family on Öland have set up the “tisdagsmys” and a nice glass of fizz. I have to work tomorrow so no fizz for me tonight though. The tea is almost ready and there are still some muffins left so that will be our “tisdagsmys”. Not bad.

A rainy week ahead so raincoat on today going to work. Had to make an early start since the busses are on summer-time and I had to be at the office earlier than usual due to a so called closing. 

Missed my bus on the way home from work so I took a walk hoping it wouldn’t start raining again. I managed to get home right in time! Now I’ve crashed for a bit before it is time to start dinner to my troops.
