May 1st and another day of celebration. Not a great year since both April 30 and May 1 is on a weekend and we are off from work anyway. Next year will be better.
Today it was time to celebrate my oldest niece and they had invited us to a “fika” outside and treated us all sorts of goodies. The carrot cake in the photo was delicious! We had a nice time sitting in the sun for a few hours. A bit chilly when a cloud hid the sun but otherwise it was lovely.
The weekend went by way too quickly. As they usually do. But we have had a great weekend so that was very nice.
