July 9th 1912 my grandmother was born. The same year (and month) as Stockholm hosted the Olympics and the same year as Titanic sank. 108 years ago. Happy birthday, wherever you are.
This photo was taken in July 1997 when my oldest son was only about 6 weeks old. We went to visit my grandfather at the elderly home he stayed at for the last period of his life. I love this photo – it has a special place on a shelf in our living room.
Extra long day today at work and the assignment will continue tomorrow morning. Hopefully I will be able to start my holiday after lunch. Fingers crossed.
