When I was younger I used to work for a staffing agency with placements on a temporary or project-by-project basis. During one period I was working with this lady, Marianne Hamilton (the author of this book), when she was senior vice president and member of the board of directors at Atlas Copco. She is a true inspiration and last summer I was invited to her home for a coffee. I bought another one of her books which she signed for me – “Ladan”. This one “Advice to my dear daughter” is a new release of a book she wrote years ago and I have been longing to get my hands on it for a while. Now it was finally available in the stores again and today I received a copy in the mail. It is also available in English.
We have been busy bees today and worked on the barge boards on our garage – we changed one side a few weeks ago and now we needed to do the other side too. So, I’ve been painting the old metal sheets and my husband has replaced the wooden parts.
