Globengalan

Finally it was time for the yearly indoor event of the year – if you like track &image field that is. My parents had received a number of tickets to give away and they gave some to me for my friends. And what an evening we took part of!

One youth world record in pole
jump by Lisa Gunnarsson, 4.49. Another world record in 500m – a very unusual distance to run – when Abdalelah Haroun ran in 59.83. And then two more amazing world records in running – Dibaba ran the English mile in 4:13.31 and Ayanleh Souleiman ran 1000m in 2:14.20. Outstanding! image

There were a lot of good results over all with – for instance – a new personal best and also the third best Swedish long jumper in all times – Otterling jumped 8.12. Our Hammarby-star didn’t have a great day and ended up 5th with 7.87. He had some really good jumps but unfortunately all with a red flag.

I’m already looking forward to the next Globengalan!
