At midnight we went outside to greet the new year and toast in some fizz (or – I did) while watching the fireworks our neighbors had bought. I had some of those long sparklers for us. It wasn’t that cold – only around 30F – so we could stay outside for a bit.
Today we are all a bit tired after staying up so late (not used to that anymore). Watching some of the Tour de Ski on TV. Finished my jigsaw puzzle – took me only 3 days so that was quick. Might start another one – don’t know yet. Today we are all enjoying the day off – tomorrow my hubby and youngest have to work again. I will work on Wednesday but I’m off the rest of the time.
