We were so tired today and slept in a bit. Waffles for lunch was nice as a treat. It’s been quite windy outside today (they say a storm is on the way) so we haven’t been out much. I hope my parents will be alright traveling back from Finland tonight by boat.
We were invited to my parents-in-law for dinner tonight to celebrate my mother-in-laws birthday. She had made us a three-course-dinner with coffee and freshly baked goodies for afters. Lovely. We gave her a couple of jigsaw puzzles for her birthday, I hope she thinks they are fun to put together. Puzzles can really be a different experience depending on the picture, size of the pieces, colors etc.
