The spring equinox is here and finally we are facing brighter days. Very busy day again but I was able to go home in time. Had to help some over the phone in the afternoon but nothing major.

Made fish casserole for dinner with cod and salmon which turned out good! The boys had ham schnitzel with boiled potatoes or pasta. Now we’ve crashed for a bit watching some series. Picked up The Fall again – we saw two seasons a while back and now there was a third season on Netflix.

Today I attended the last parent-teacher conference – maybe forever. Can’t believe my youngest is graduating in a few months. And his teacher was very proud of him, as we are too!

Pancakes on the menu tonight. Served with jam of different sorts and / or caster sugar. Mmm. Hopefully there will be some left for another day.. then I can fill them with creamed mushrooms or something. Even better than jam!

I needed a bit cheering up today so I treated myself some new tulips. Had yellow ones from last weekend that had faded. These bright orange/red ones with a yellow brim were too lovely to resist! And they smell gorgeous!

Very very tired today. Made burgers for dinner and then crashed. It’s been snowing all evening too so no spa-time tonight, I’m afraid. Maybe tomorrow.

We went to bed really late and the cruise was calm with no motion of the sea. I had some problem sleeping though – don’t know why. I felt fine but just kept waking up all the time.

The buffet breakfast was perfect and we sat there for a long time just chatting and enjoying the food. The weather was anything but great so we didn’t go outside the whole trip. Raining and windy. Brrr.

It was a really nice party and now we are relaxing at home trying to get some energy back for next week when we have to work again.

Time for some weekend fun with our friends. We were invited to celebrate one of our friends who turned 50 the other day. He had booked dinner on one of the cruise-ships and almost all of our friends came along. So we treated ourselves a nice cabin with sea-view and left the boys home alone. Lovely.

First we had some gathering with some bubbly and get together in their master suite followed by a buffet dinner and then drinks and dance all night long. Fun!

A really unpleasant day weather-wise. Raining and grey. Awful really.

It’s been a very stressful week but now it is Friday and I could get off an hour early. Bought some groceries on my way home and now dinner is in the oven and we will have a nice Friday dinner together in a bit.

May the weekend begin. I hope it will be a great one. Starting with my vase of sunshine in the living room.

Last game in the preliminary round and a win would definitely be in our favor. We had a great lead after the first half but lost 23-24 in the end. Bummer. That was not good. They are really grasping at straws now – with some super luck they will still be able to play the qualification to remain in the series. Fingers crossed!

A very busy day and I am so tired. Going to hug my pillow now. And sleep.

Woke up and the snow had returned. It was snowing pretty hard all morning but it was above zero so it was melting when hitting the ground. The city was almost flooded with water as I arrived in town.

A very busy but short day and I was able to go home in time (yeah). Had to make a call to the insurance company and waited in line for a long time before it was my turn. It was just a follow up thing so nothing to worry about. Always hard to make calls like that at work so it was good I could get my afternoon off.

Finally done! We enjoyed the last puzzle so much we borrowed another one with the same theme. The last one had 1500 pcs – this one only 1000 pcs.

A very long busy day at work – came home and made a wok for dinner. Now some sofa-time watching a new series on C-More we started to watch called “Cardinal”. It is pretty good! Maybe we’ll enjoy some of the cheese that is still left and a cup of tea or two.
