When our kids were small they loved to play in the sandbox in
the back yard. When they grew out of it we transformed it to a flower box.
Slowly but surely I have introduced herbaceous perennial plants and it is coming together quite nicely, if you ask me.
An easy way to turn an unused toy into something pretty! I have collected some favorites – a few every year – and try to go slow to see how they turn out.
