City tour

Monday – our last day in Majorca. We were picked up by a tour guide for a stroll around the city.

We went to see the amazing cathedral and the story behind it was quite fascinating.

imageThen we saw the statue of Junipero Sierra – a Majorcan friar who founded the first 9 of 21 Spanish missions from San Diego to San Francisco. I wonder if my Californian family have heard of him.

We ended the city tour at a lovely coffee shop in an alley hidden from the tourists and had a fantastic Spanish pastry filled with a bitter chocolate. image

In the afternoon we had to go back to the airport and I thank Majorca for a lovely visit. It was just about the best trip ever with my company and I am so thankful and happy for being part of it.
