Today we needed a break from the office and went out for lunch. Not far though – just across the street – to Pas d’Art for the plat-du-jour – Boeuf Bourguignon. Not the easiest dish to either pronounce or spell.. lol. This dish used to be delicious at this place but the last couple of times we have been more and more disappointed. So, we might skip going there on Thursdays from now on. For once, they have started to serve the meat in a big piece instead of cut into tiny cubes like I think it’s supposed to be. This way the meat doesn’t suck up the delicious gravy which is what you want it to do.
Anyway, fed and energized we got thru the rest of the day. I haven’t been this tired in a long time so I’m glad this week only has one more day. Now I’ve crashed for a bit while hubby is preparing dinner. Perfect.
