Semla

Today we celebrated a national theme day – semlor – cream buns. Filled with almond icing and covered with whipped cream and icing sugar. Mm. They also come in a miniature version – such as these on my photo – which are perfect! Also a variation of filling for those who don’t care for almond icing. But I do. I enjoyed my selma with a nice cup of coffee this afternoon. 

A very busy long day today. Hubby picked me up by the subway station after work and we went to pick up our dry-cleaning along with some take-away food. Nice. Now some corner time and a cup of tea.
