Midweek and a short day for me. Had lunch with my colleagues so I stayed on a bit to make up for the time. On my way to the subway going home I went to Lindex to get some new knee-high nylons. Then I also found this lounge set in velour that I fell in love with and bought. So very comfy and perfect for wearing around the house. Photo borrowed from their website.

Our youngest is feeling much better and the rest of us are still fine so with some luck we’ve gotten away easy.

Made pasta bolognese for dinner and now we’re enjoying episode 8 of the 5th season of Yellowstone. Saw that Kevin Costner received an award yesterday at the Golden Globe for his part in the series.

Long busy day at work but I got a lot done so that was good. 

Went to get some pasta at a new place close to the office which is quite nice. It is just a small shop with no tables so only take-away which allows them good prices. 

My hubby and I often takes the same bus since he changed employer. We decided to make chicken with rice for dinner when we got home. Now we’ve crashed in our corners watching “See how they run” – a murder mystery movie on Disney+. 

Back to work again after two wonderful weeks off. Not the best weather this morning with heavy fog and slight rain, but degrees above 0C so not too bad. 

Today our new company sign arrived and was put in place. Turned out great! Perfect! Nice to be back and seeing some of my colleagues again. Tomorrow most of them will be at the office again – we have mandatory on-site work on Tuesdays. 

My parents stopped by for a quick chat and a coffee. I’m so glad we are able to steal those minutes here and there! 

Managed to sleep in quite a bit this morning. This has been a great holiday in that regards – I have been able to sleep! Perfect. Tomorrow it’s time to get up super early though and get back to the office. Puh. 

Started to collect the little elfs that have been decorating our living room – didn’t think they were that many but putting them together on the table I guess they give another impression. Lol. Our X-mas tree is still ok though, so I’ll keep it up for another couple of days along with the candle sticks in our windows. 

My hubby and youngest and my brother-in-law and the girls are on their way back to the city again and will arrive later on this evening. I think they have had a great time when looking at the photos they have shared. So happy for them. 

Just received a photo from our skiers who seem to have a great time. I am so happy for them!

My leg feels better today – it has been hurting for the last couple of days and last night it was really bad after all the walking yesterday. Got up to over 15.000 steps before the day was over. I definitely need to start moving more but I guess overdoing it won’t do me any favors.

Going to work on my second project today and hopefully make some progress. It is really windy outside but it isn’t snowing anymore (so far). A perfect day to relax and enjoy my last weekend this vacation.

Since the other two family-members are out having fun in the snow, me and my oldest decided to do the same. So, after breakfast we dressed for the weather and went for a very long walk in the forest. 10.000 steps and 1,5 hrs later we arrived back home again. So tired but pleased with our efforts. 

Made us pancakes for lunch and worked on different projects afterwards. Then we walked over to my parents for a nice dinner with two other friends. We were treated great food and company and walked back home in the snow later on in the evening. Thank you for having us! 

Ended the evening watching “På Spåret” and also assisted a colleague with a problem for a bit. Glad I could help. 

The alarm went off early this morning and after breakfast my hubby and youngest went to get my brother-in-law and the girls to start the long drive up north for their weekend of ski-fun. They arrived safely about 10hrs later – so a very long day in the car.

I have been a busy bee all day and decided to get the two last curtains for our bedroom completed. Said and done. I love the way it turned out! I have also done a lot of laundry, ironing, vacuuming etc but also spent a lot of hours in my corner watching my series on Disney+.

Had lunch with an old friend. It was really nice to see her and catch up some. She picked me up and we drove over to a restaurant near by for a lovely lunch – I chose the goulash soup and it was delicious.

Now I’m going to cheer on our junior pride and joy who are fighting for a bronze tonight towards the US. Go Sweden!

Midweek already. Time goes by way too quickly. Received our Xmas cards from my American family today – I miss them so much. Would be so wonderful if we could take a trip over there this year. Fingers crossed.

My hubby and youngest have been packing today for their trip tomorrow. Leaving first thing in the morning picking up my brother-in-law and the girls. I hope they will have an amazing weekend in the slopes having a great time. Back in Sunday with big smiles on their faces.

Our junior pride-and-joy are playing the semi-finals tonight towards Czechia. The other semifinals are between USA-Canada. Go Sweden!

I made a promise to myself to complete at least one and maybe two projects on my list. Re-doing these curtains was one of the projects and I finished today. They used to be in our office and we were not going to bring them to our new office so I was allowed to take them along with some other curtains. 

They were way too wide and too long for our windows so I had to split one in half and shorten it. And today I finished. Love the way they turned out. The other curtains I will save for another day. 

New year and we are off this week too. Lovely. Need to start eating a bit more healthy again and loose that extra pound Xmas food has brought upon us. So, salad for lunch today. Mm. 

After lunch we went for a short trip to Mall of Scandinavia to look around for a bit. I didn’t find anything to buy but hubby bought a pair of jeans. Nice to get out of the house for a bit. 

I have been a busy bee and finished sowing my curtains today. Yeah. Good for me. Going to iron them and put them up tomorrow. Or maybe the next day. Lol. 

Sweden managed to win over Finland in the quarter finals in Junior WC in hockey. Yeah. Better than I dared to hope for. So, semi finals – here we come! Go Sweden!
