A full week to look forward to after a couple of weeks with holidays included. A sunny start of the week and short day at work. Lovely. I picked up some groceries on my way home and had a late lunch when I got home.

Spent some time in my corner finishing reading my book “Ladan”. It was really interesting. I’m going to read it again. Wasn’t really focused when I started reading it so I want to make sure I got everything. It’s about women in the middle of their carrier – how to help them remain in their companies and also grow, wanna take more responsibility and enter into leading positions.  Interesting conversations.

Sunny Sunday – a bit cooler than yesterday but still very nice and warm. We enjoyed our breakfast outside and decided to spend a few hours cleaning our spa. It doesn’t take very long to empty it but a few hours to get it filled up again.

I made a cheese-pie for lunch and left-overs for the boys. It has been such a great long weekend – plenty of time to relax but also getting things done. Well spent time off!

Weekend and still warm and sunny. Lovely. We have taken it easy today and not done much. Strolled over to the café by the lake and enjoyed these goodies. I had a walnut ice cream with walnuts, whipped cream and caramel sauce. And P had a strawberry one, M a chocolate one. F stayed at home.

I’ve been laying in my hammock reading my new book for a bit. It is quite interesting and I’m about half way thru. Now we’re taking a break from the sun and crashed indoor for a bit. And still a long way left of the day to enjoy. Perfect.

Friday again. Both me and my husband took a day off from work to get a long weekend and catch up a bit at home after everything. Yesterday was just perfect – a day with the whole family on beautiful Långgarn.

Today it is equally sunny and warm and we could sit outside and have a left-over-lunch from the buffet. My parents came over to help finish some dishes.

The house is returning to its usual self and all the party decorations are back in their boxes, most of the dishes are done and I’m also doing some laundry – running a bit behind. Great to have this extra day off and a whole weekend ahead to enjoy. Lovely.

National day and a public holiday. So nice after a few hectic days. I have take a vacation day tomorrow too so an extra long weekend ahead. Lovely.

We had been invited to my parents-in-law in our second paradise for the day. My sister w/ family and our parents came along too. And we had an amazing day – spoiled with warm sunny weather, the first dip in the ocean (16C), great food and company. A perfect day. Thank you for everything!

Finally the day had come – when my youngest was graduating from school. And it was a perfect day – with sunny clear blue sky, no rain and everybody feeling good.

We went to greet him and pick him up from the ceremony and when we got back home a lot of friends and family came over to celebrate with us. We enjoyed the buffet and this cake for afters and we could sit outside all evening.

He received a lot of nice gifts and I think he was very happy with his day. He surprised everybody with his new hair color (cerise.. ) and looked so very handsome in his suit and white shirt. And he passed all his classes and completed his education. I couldn’t be more proud!

Worked half a day today to go home and do some more preparations for tomorrow. Not much remains now.

When my husband came home we went to get the car washed (cool pic, ha?) and then picked up some cold buffet we had ordered.

The weather forecast is looking good (I hope I don’t jinx it by saying so) and I am hopeful we can sit outside tomorrow. It’s going to be a special day for the family! So proud of my boys!

The week has come when my little one is graduating. Everything in hand – the only thing I don’t feel I’m on top of is the weather. And that is completely out of my hands. The weather Gods seem to have a hard time deciding too – the prognosis keep changing all the time. Let’s pray for sunshine and no wind. That would be perfect.

Early day today and busy afternoon. Picked up a few last things, made a bolognese for dinner and now I’m relaxing a bit trying to not stress over work or family. Going to read my book, I think.

Another day off – great! We have managed to accomplish so much this weekend – and I am so grateful to my mom, mother-in-law and sister for helping us with one dish each for the buffet on Wednesday. What would I do without you all? Let’s not find out.

Our garden is in full bloom now with these amazing aquilegias in blue or white mixed with my peonies in dark pink and the bright yellow broom (ginst) which is gorgeous right now. I love spring. All the scents, colors, everything coming to live again.

We’ve been busy bees cleaning all day. Doing that little bit extra which we should do more often. Perfect to invite people over so you feel the need to do it. Lol. We’ve also shopped the last (well.. one never know) bags of groceries for the buffet. Can’t wait to start preparing the dishes. And get on with the celebrations!

Today it was time for the big dance show with my oldest niece and her dance studio. The show this year was called “Move in Space” and was as usually held in Tumba. I picked up my mother and my youngest niece and we went there together. Some of the numbers where really good – especially the ones with the older classes.

My youngest is out tonight with his friends so the rest of us went over to Heron for dinner. I had fish & chips. Now we have crashed in front of a movie at home together called “Snowman”. We’ll see if it’s any good.
