Another day off – great! We have managed to accomplish so much this weekend – and I am so grateful to my mom, mother-in-law and sister for helping us with one dish each for the buffet on Wednesday. What would I do without you all? Let’s not find out.
Our garden is in full bloom now with these amazing aquilegias in blue or white mixed with my peonies in dark pink and the bright yellow broom (ginst) which is gorgeous right now. I love spring. All the scents, colors, everything coming to live again.
We’ve been busy bees cleaning all day. Doing that little bit extra which we should do more often. Perfect to invite people over so you feel the need to do it. Lol. We’ve also shopped the last (well.. one never know) bags of groceries for the buffet. Can’t wait to start preparing the dishes. And get on with the celebrations!
