May 1st and a day off. And what a great day we’ve had.
Got up early and started to prepare for our dear friends who were coming over for lunch. Made a broccoli pie and a chocolate mud cake for afters. Picked up M&J at the subway station and it was so good to see them. We had a great lunch and chat and finally they could meat both my sons. I hope we can get together soon again!
After their visit we went over to celebrate my oldest niece who is turning 20 years old tomorrow. We had bough her a poster from Fotografiska Museet with a frame to go with it that she wanted. After the coffee and ice cream we all went to a local restaurant for dinner. Lovely.
It’s been raining most of the day and tomorrow the forecast said it might even snow. I hope they are wrong. Now some sofa-time and a glass of white before it’s time to hug the pillow.
