A good Friday in many ways. Met up with my friend visiting from Scotland for lunch – so nice to see her! She brought me my favorites as a gift. Thank you!
After work I went for a massage – it’s been ages. She wasn’t too pleased with my muscles being way too tight. I should probably go again soon. My body will be sore tomorrow, I’m sure. Wish you all a great evening!
Puh..
Had a few minutes to myself this morning so I did my nails. I have broken three nails on my right hand – need to be careful so they can grow long again.
Long day at work and we made some progress with bits and pieces. Got home in time for dinner – chicken with rise. Mmm.
Received the two tickets my father won and gave me to Bauhaus-galan today. Yeah. I thought I only won one but it was two. Section P row 1.
Break
Forced myself to calm down today. Stopped for a coffee on my way to work. Then I had a very busy couple of hours but it was a short day so it was ok. Spent the afternoon at the hairdresser with an attempt to cheer myself up a bit and get a fresh start. Get rid of the dry ends and add some color. A couple of hours and a good chat later I was on my way home with a few inches shorter hair. No dramatic change but it felt good to get it cut. Booked a new appointment in May – nice to be prepared!
Made dinner for my boys – my husband is out tonight with his colleagues – and now I’ve been working on my puzzle for a bit. Some time in front of the tv and then an early night.
Winter
So much snow and the commute to the city sucks. Cancelled commuter trains means those passengers will go by subway instead which means extra crowded trains. Extra crowded buses. Is it spring soon?
Very busy day today. Dead tired. Crashed in my corner for a bit and then I’m going to bed early. Time to catch up on some sleep.
GP in Sätra
Great track & field in our local arena Sätrahallen tonight! Grand Prix status and indoor permit meeting chasing results to qualify for the European Championships in Glasgow beginning of March. A lot of fun to be in the track & field bubble for a while and a real walk down memory lane meeting old referees and friends from back in the days when I was active myself as an official. And I love spending an evening with my parents in this environment!
Snow snow
So much snow! And it is starting to get really cold too now so we (my husband and youngest) have been working to showel as much as possible before it freezes and will be impossible to move. A long lazy day otherwise spent around the living room table working on my puzzle.
My parents had a power outage in their house this afternoon so I invited them over for dinner, which was nice. The boys are away on different activities so it was just the four of us. Now I’ve crashed in my corner watching the “Så mycket bättre” song program. Getting ready for another week of work.
Challenge
It was snowing really bad last night so we (well.. my husband) had a lot to showel this morning. We had to dig out the car since we needed to go grocery shopping.
Yesterday I bought a jigsaw puzzle – I love putting them together but haven’t done it in ages. Hopefully we will have it done by my sons birthday – lol – should probably have bought one of those puzzle cloths too so we could move it.
Tonight it is the first part of Melodifestivalen and we are all going to my sisters’ for dinner. Everyone is contributing to dinner and I’m making chicken and a cheese pie.
Mello 1
Time for the first part of the Melodifestivalen. The hosts this year are Sarah Dawn Finer, Kodjo Akolor, Marika Carlsson and Eric Saade. My sister is hosting the first part tonight and we and our friends are coming over for dinner which we all pitch in to.

February 1st
It’s been snowing all day long. Our trash-cans were never emptied today – don’t know why but maybe it had something to do with the roads not being cleared from snow. Hopefully they will be taken care of tomorrow.
Finally we can put January behind us and face February. A lot of fun things awaits! But first, a quiet evening in our corners watching something on tv. Emptied the fridge and made left-overs for dinner – didn’t want to dig out the car tonight. Need to do that tomorrow morning though.
