A very busy day today – again – with a nice lunch date though. My first boss who hired me 30 years ago took me out to lunch and we had a really nice time. Can’t believe it’s been so long since that first job after I finished school.
After work I met up with my dad and two friends to cheer on our handball team. They were facing Karlskrona tonight and managed to win 34-24!! Finally a great win! They needed that, I think.
Colors
Woahh what a day. Fall is here and the colors are really gorgeous. Love it! Short day today so I could relax a bit this afternoon and catch up on some things I’m running behind with.
Managed to complete my photo album from our trip and order it! Can’t wait to see it. It got really big though.. but I couldn’t make it shorter. Fortunately I got a good deal and 50% off which was necessary to make it worth it. Otherwise it would be way too expensive.
Fall day
This morning it was really a fall-feeling outside. The street is sparkling with color and it was quite a grey sky. But also quite warm funny enough. The weather forecast predicted a brit-summer this weekend with even warmer days than today. Lovely.
Long day and very busy too. I’m so tired. But, I got most of my work done – had to leave a few things for tomorrow.
Dentist
New week again. The weekends pass by too quickly. I’m not ready yet. But, ready or not – the week starts regardless.
After work I had my every second-year-dental appointment. Every other year I see my dental hygienist. I passed with flying colors so that was great. I really don’t like these kind of appointments but I also realize it is good for me so I suffer thru.
I am so tired today and feel a bit cold too. I hope I’m not coming down with anything. Next weekend I have my spa-day with my friends to look forward to that they gave me for my 50th. Don’t want anything to stand in the way for that.
Anniversary
Today it’s been 23 years since we said our “I do’s” in church. My husband gave me red roses and tonight we have been out for dinner all four of us. Lovely!
Other than that we have been busy around the house all day. I’ve been working on my photo album for a bit too – almost done. My parents-in-law stopped by for a bit and we had a nice chat and a cup of tea together. Feels like we haven’t seen each other for ages.
Spiken ?
The 48th edition of Spiken in the same track took place today. The runners are competing in 4 classes – women, youth, men and old-boys. The person closest the average time in each class is the winner and the person furthest from the average time takes the jumbo price. My husband managed to get the first price in the main class – and now this “Spiken” will decorate our price shelf for the next year. My parents are the heroes on this and are very much appreciated in Hammarby for all their hard work and devotion. Today my sister and I had to step in and take an active part in the race due to other friends not being able to assist. And my husband helped with the calculations. Hmm.. Lol.
Oscars
My sister wanted to go and see a show for her birthday so my mom and I gave her a girls-night-out. We booked it this summer and now it was time to enjoy the evening.
We met up at Åhléns and decided to try Paolo Robertos restaurant in the top floor. We enjoyed a chicken sallad with a glass of wine before it was time to stroll over to the Oscars theatre and watch “Så som i himmelen”. The show was really good and the lead singer – Philip Jalmelid – (whom I’ve never heard of) was amazing! The other stars in the show had to take a step back! We had a great time!
Busy busy
National theme day – Kanelbullens dag. Great reason to enjoy these goodies. We had a big basket full at work and my husband also brought some home tonight. Mmm.
My son texted me today and wanted to meet up for lunch which made me smile! We hadn’t talked about it so it came as a surprise and made it extra special. So, of course I treated him lunch! Love my boys!

Short day today so I booked an appointment with my hairdresser in the afternoon. Haven’t cut my hair since before the summer, so it was well due.
I got back home in time to start dinner – pork filet for the boys and shrimps for me – served with rise and broccoli. Now some tv-time before it is time to hug the pillow. Can’t believe we’ve been back home for more than a week already. Time flies.
Been so busy at work – need to slow down a bit and focus on not stress so much. Won’t do me any good. I have two quite busy days ahead though .. but after that maybe ..

Äntligen hittade vi ett datum när alla kunde! Efter ett försök i maj som tyvärr inte resulterade i någon träff tog vi nya tag efter sommaren. September erbjöd inga tillfällen så det fick bli oktober istället!
Vi bjöds på en fantastisk två-rätters-middag med efterföljande chokladkaka med laktrits-tvist. Mmm. Så mysigt att ses och så mycket att prata om efter uppehållet. Något pyssel hanns inte med och inte heller någon planering annat än att vi nog ska gå på bio och att vi troligen kommer baka inför jul. Men – nu är vi igång igen!
