Sunday again and nice day at home working on my photo albums. Managed to do more than I thought I would, so that was good. I have sorted out which ones I want to put in my album and also uploaded them so I can start working on the album.

My parents picked me up in the afternoon to go into town to cheer on our team in handball. It was quite a rough game with a lot of tension and irritated players and we lost the game towards GUIF 26-28.

Afterwards we picked up some pizza and went back to us for dinner and coffee.

It was freezing cold this morning with zero Celsius. Brrr. My husband got up really early today and left to go to the airport. He is going away with his work for a couple of days to enjoy hiking in the Swiss alps.

So, it’s just me and the boys at home. We have been busy today shopping for groceries and raking up some of the 500 apples covering our garden.

I have started to go through the big amount of photos from our trip. Puh. It will take me a while..

Short week since we got back from our holiday on a Tuesday. I’m not complaining – perfect way to start a return after a vacation.

Enjoyed a nice dinner with rib-eye steak, potatoes and a lovely glass of red. Will sleep like a log tonight. I’m so tired. A very busy couple of days and a lovely weekend with hardly any plans ahead. Might get a chance to work on my photo-albums – one I’m almost done with but also going to start on a new one from our latest trip. Still some work to do though to sort the photos out.

What happened? Did we bring the rain back from Scotland? The day started out pretty good though but I was soaked by the time I got back from work. Long day today but very fun and busy.

Did my nails tonight. I had them done before we left for Scotland two weeks ago and amazingly enough they haven’t cracked or anything that whole time. Now they are painted in an orange tone called “fall for NYC”. I found my favorite nail polish in Inverness for basically no money at all – yeah! 3 for 1 compared to Swedish prices. So – now I have 3 fall-colors to enjoy!

Back to work! It was good to see everybody again and I felt really rested and ready to get started. Only a short day to start with and it went by in no time.

It’s been raining off and on all day so my new raincoat came in handy here too (been wearing it for a week during our holiday). Been a busy bee all afternoon doing laundry and sorting mail that got piled up during our vacation. Then I looked out the window and saw all the apples around our second apple tree. Apples anyone?

A wonderful amazing vacation has come to an end and we are back home again after a day of travelling. We have had the best time and everything has worked just the way we had planned (except for a minor hiccup with the storm that changed the plans for us and forced us to re-arrange a couple of days). Scotland is a beautiful country and surprised us a bit with the great food, great people and gorgeous nature. We want more and I’m sure we will return! But right now we are all tired of all the walking and all the impressions and happy to be home with our kids. And I look forward to sleep in my own bed and hug my own pillow tonight!
