January 1st
Last night we could enjoy a lot of fireworks over Huddinge from our friends’ patio. It was raining and cold but we stood outside to greet the new year according to tradition. Today it is likewise raining and grey and not very winter-like at all.
We have been sorting the house out today. But first this morning over breakfast I watched the hockey game I taped last night – Sweden vs. Russia. The last game in the group play – and Sweden needed to get a point in order to win the group. And they did win but it went all the way to shoot outs. Now we are facing Slovakia in the quarter finals.
