Woke up to a beautiful sunny Sunday morning – very very windy though. It sounds like it is a storm raging outside and it is a bit chillier too – about -3C. This photo is from the other week – haven’t taken a new one today yet.
Still a bit chocked about the result from last night – I was ok with the two finalists but I was a bit surprised about both the ones given a second chance. In my opinion Molly and the duett should have given that opportunity instead. Oh well.
Have a great Sunday!

Finally Friday! My oldest is spending the evening with friends and my husband is on his way back home from a work trip (he left yesterday). So it is only me and my youngest at home tonight. We have enjoyed a nice dinner together – with sirloin steak and french fries. Mmmm.
Tonight the cheesier snack was on the wish-list.. I prefer really crunchy crisps – my favorite is Svenska LantChips – plain with salt. Mmmm.
Have a great weekend everyone!
Work
Whatever it was that upset my stomach yesterday seems to be gone now. After being able to eat and keep both lunch and dinner I dared to go the the show last night – my niece goes to a drama-class and they had rehearsed a play written by Ola Salo called “Kult”. They were the first ones to perform it live – it has only been on radio before. It was quite good but the music was rather complex. But they did an excellent job! She was amazing in her part – full of confidence and not nervous!
I felt a little bit like this lovely creature sitting outside of the theatre though – not completely happy about my situation but coping.. lol.. But now after a good night sleep I feel I can go back to work again. Fingers crossed I will be fine all day!
Day home..
My stomach was not agreeing with me last night or this morning so I stayed home today to not push my luck too much. I have had a quiet day so far and no emergencies – just felt a bit like “the day after”. With a bit of luck whatever it was it is over now. I just wish I was in my other corner – down in our paradise – with sunshine and summer outside the window.
Oh, and I had to postpone my appointment another week – well – the upside is that I still have that to look forward to.
Fingers crossed I will be able to go to my nieces play tonight! I would really hate it if I had to miss that.
Tuesday
Snow snow snow.. I shoveled a lot of snow yesterday. Today my husband did the work. It is nice to keep the driveway clear behind the car so when you do need the car it isn’t a weeks worth of snow to take care of first.
Long day at work today.. finally home going through my mail and fixing things for the family. The 2015 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships in Vail/Beaver Creek just started. Go Sweden!
New week – new challenges..
I can’t decide if it is raining or snowing outside. It is not the best weather to go out in, to be honest.
After work and several errands and a dentist appointment later I am finally home to crash for a minute before it is time to dig out the car and turn into taxi-mom.
I deserve a cinnamon role and a coffee, right?
Guests
Sunday.. where did this weekend go? I need more time off!
Today we will have guests here for the afternoon coffee / tea so I have made a chocolate cake covered with chocolate ganache and decorated with fresh raspberries and blueberries. Served with whipped cream. I hope it will be to everyones liking. I have some cinnamon roles too of different sorts. Just in case.
Today it has been snowing all day long but it is above 0C so the snow is wet and very heavy. Not a day for skiing unfortunately. I wonder when I will get a chance to try my cross-country skis?
