Finally Friday and after work we had an alumni get-together with my old work colleagues from HP. It was really fun to see everyone and it’s amazing how you can connect with people after all these years. I stopped working for HP back in 2002 – 14 years ago – and still people go to these events and enjoy spending time together. Talk about a strong solid connection! How HP was able to really connect people and make us feel like a family. Already looking forward to the next event.

This morning Starbucks was giving out samples of their new flavor – pumpkin. I am not a big fan of pumpkin but it was quite nice. I will probably by the regular coffee next time though. I guess people haven’t dared to try this new flavor since they were trying to market it.

A long quite busy day at work and now a relaxing evening infront of the tv to enjoy.

Short day today – which started and ended with rain. Went to the restaurant market across the street from work for a late lunch and decided to have a Sesame Street from Yoi! They are quite good. Chicken and rise with vegetables and a special sauce that signifies the dish.

Went with my parents to another game of handball – same disaster as last time .. we need to start winning the games. Much more fun to watch. But I really do enjoy watching sports with my parents.

The day didn’t start very well with a late buss and chaos in the subway system. Took me 80 min to get to work instead of 45.. Oh well.

A day filled with meetings and tasks to solve – not a moment to relax. Need I say the day passed by very quickly.

After a day like this it would have been nice to enjoy one of these goodies – the special Danish pastries from Borgholm on Öland that has the extra twist with fresh berries on top. Had to settle with a piece of chocolate.. But that was quite good too.

.. fun to see Tre Kronor in the world cup final. Maybe next time.The finale is played in best of three games but it is played in the evening in Canada which means I can’t watch it here. Oh well. In that regard I am glad Sweden didn’t make it – lol.

New week ahead – time to focus on something else. I was able to get off on time and went to Joe & the Juice to try their lunch. I had a Joe’s Club which was quite good actually. Might go there again sometime. When I got home I made a lasagna for dinner. Yum.

First movie-time – our oldest stayed at home to complete some work for school – but the rest of us met up with my sis and the girls to watch “Finding Dory”. It was a good movie but not great. Part one was much better.

Tonight Sweden lost the semifinal in the world cup ice hockey after over time. Damnit. So close but yet so far away. Amazing. Team Europe is playing the final towards Canada. Sweden and Russia are sharing the third place. I’m proud of our team – we won our group and didn’t loose any game all tournament during full time. But, close doesn’t kill the rabbit. Lol.

A day of shopping. First groceries and then clothes. Nothing for me though.. A quiet day with some work around the house. Made a slow-cook dinner with pulled beef which turned out pretty good. Served with fresh pasta and chocolate pudding for afters. Yum! We haven’t had that in ages so it was about time.

Ended the day infront of a Tarantino-movie which was just as odd and weird as most of his movies are with almost everybody dead in the end. Lol.

Another week has come to an end. Can’t believe it’s already two weeks since we were in Vienna. Time flies. And a great weekend ahead with the semi finals in hockey to enjoy. Let’s hope it will be a game to enjoy and that we go through to the next round. One more win and the gold or silver medal is ours. I don’t think there will be a bronze game this tournament.

Dinner was on the table when I got home from work today. Nice!

Höstdagjämning. Today fall officially starts. And it is getting really dark in the evenings now. This photo was taken at 7.30 pm the other night when I decided to walk home instead of waiting for the next bus. But it was a bit too dark to see properly when I got as far as to the lake. So, note-to-self – no more walks home after 7 pm.

Going to bed early tonight to catch up on some sleep that I’ve missed this week. But I am so glad TV3 decided to send the hockey after all instead of via one of the pay-channels we don’t have. And the games have been well worth staying up for. Time for semi-finals – Sunday eve – facing Team Europe.

A good day today. Everything according to plan so far. Let’s hope today ends with an amazing win tonight. We need one more point to advance to the next round.

I baked the most miserable cake last weekend so I decided to give it another go. This one turned out better – at least by the looks of it. The other one looked great too until I cut it open and it wasn’t done. Lol. Oh well.

Ps! Sweden-North America 3-4 OT !!! We made it. Puh!
