Friday and not feeling great. I didn’t sleep so good – feels like I’m coming down with something. Fingers crossed I will feel better tomorrow after a good nights sleep.
My morning egg was a surprise with two or maybe even three yolks in it. Not often you see that.
Made cod for dinner for me and hubby. Boys got pork filet with fries. Now some corner time before I’m going to hug my pillow and make it an early night. May the weekend begin.
Theme AW
A morning filled with figures and invoices, lunch with oldest sun and then an afternoon filled with other stuff. We had an AfterWork tonight with a British theme which involved all sorts of British food, music, drinks and great fun. The pub-quiz was a challenge but my team won! Yeah!
Received my 2 credits today! Now it’s official – I have completed a course in a University. *So proud*!
Sunny and cold
I was so tired last night I fell asleep as soon as I hit the pillow. But after a good night sleep I felt ok again this morning, ready to face another day.
Listened to my DM-list on my way to work. Some loud music usually does the trick in giving me some new energy.
Finished off all the left-overs in the fridge for dinner. Going to enjoy some time in the spa in a minute. Need to warm up a bit – not used to this cold just yet. Then I’m having another early night. Need my sleep.

Winter has arrived. No, not yet, but this morning it was 2C outside. Had to dig out a warmer coat and scarf in order to not freeze while waiting on my bus.
Got home in time for dinner – so nice to arrive to a set table and a home cooked meal.
My youngest has been working on his cv – with some luck it will result in a job offer before not too long. No fun in sitting at home all day and not making a difference, contribute or earning any money. I hope an employer out there soon will discover what a great son we have.
Pyssel hos A – 16 sep 2019
Dags för höstens första träff med mina pysslande vänner. Samling hemma hos A där vi bjöds på en fantastisk trerätters med egenhändigt plockad svamp i form av en toast till förrätt, super-smarrig spagetti till varmrätt och ett urval av lokala specialiteter (Delicato) till fikat. Så mysigt att ses och bara vara lite.
Regnet vräkte ner under kvällen men slutade lagom till att jag skulle vandra tillbaka hem igen. Nån planering blev det inte – men lite idéer har vi. Får se om vi pysslar hos N nästa gång eller om det blir en favorit i repris (bara äta god mat, umgås och må bra!).
Sunday roast
Dead tired today. Not used to being up late. Or drinking wine. Lol. Have not had hardly any wine since our vacation – thought a white month would do me some good.
I made a roast for dinner tonight. Slowly cooked in low temperature. Served with green pepper sauce and boiled potatoes. It turned out quite good. Nice.
Treating ourselves some nice cheese tonight. With a glass of port. Perfect ending of a good weekend!
Party time
A lazy Saturday with only a few things done, e.g. grocery shopping and some cleaning.
In the afternoon it was time to get ready for the big party we had been invited to which was held in a conference center outside the city. A big do with close to a hundred guests, live entertainment, great food and great people. We had a lot of fun all evening and arrived back home way past midnight.
Friday 13th and a full moon .. 🙈
Friday. What a crazy week. The roller coaster ride completed. And most stuff got done – and in a good way. I feel the resemblance with the fellows to the right.. I am not on top of things like I normally am. But, I will be. Soon.
A quiet evening at home to look forward to. Spend time with my boys. And the sun is shining. Lovely. Have a great weekend everyone!
New art
First half of the day spent with youngest son to accompany him to his appointment. Everything went well. Picked up some lunch on the way to the office and worked late.
After work I went to see a sneak preview of a new Swedish movie – “Quick”. A very interesting story about one of the biggest scandals in Swedish court of law. Great actors made the movie well worth seeing. I recommend it!
Godmother
I am a proud Godmother to both my nieces and every year on the anniversary of the day they were Christened we either give them a small gift or try to do something together. This year I treated my oldest niece a visit to the Essie nail salon to get our nails done. First we met up for lunch and a chat and then we got our treatment. She chose a tile-red color and I chose this one called “Shearling darling”. It will be perfect with my dress for the party this weekend. Her sister has her day in December – we’ll see what she will be up for.
A nice break in a hectic day.
