Friday already. And summer arrived! Can’t believe it’s been a whole week since my party. So many preparations and everything worked just like I planned. Took a lot of energy but I am so glad I made the effort. I think everyone had fun too!

A real treat today – my son wanted to meet up and have lunch and what better place than TGI Friday (Thank God It’s Friday). We each have our favorite there – he always eats the chicken tender with zingo and I chose the chicken BLT fingers with an ice-tea. Both served with fries. Yum!

Tonight we have enjoyed a nice dinner together and now we are watching a movie of his choice (Ghost in the Shell). Nice!

What a day! Summer arrived! It’s 7 PM and almost 20C outside. Wow. Not very warm when I went to work – only about 7C – but as the day went by it got warmer and warmer.

I hope it will stay this pretty over the weekend so we can enjoy it a bit! More and more flowers are starting to bloom in the garden and it won’t be long before the apple- and cherry-trees are starting to bloom.

My husband went up north last night to go skiing with his colleagues. Back to the snow. Haha. I can’t say I envy him. But, I hope they will have a great couple of days with amazing skiing and great weather.

An extremely busy short day – feels like I squeezed in 8 hrs work in 4 hrs. Hardly had time for a coffee even. And I hope my colleagues haven’t finished the leftovers of this amazing cake from yesterday. With some luck I can have a piece tomorrow instead.

Hurried to Stuvsta after work for my appointment with the dental hygienist. Not my favorite visit, that’s for sure. But, I’m sure it is doing good. Next time I’ll be going to the dentist instead.

Long busy day and I got quite a lot done. Had salmon for lunch with quinoa and veggies. Yum!

Today I was congratulated by my colleagues at work with a gift, flowers and an amazing chocolate cake. Lovely!

A day filled with sunshine and nice weather. I hope next weekend will treat us with lovely weather too so I can enjoy it during daytime. Sit outside and have my coffee.

New week with new challenges. Made plans with my nieces as a thank you for all their work at my party. They did a great job! We will meat in the city in a few weeks for a treat of their choice!

Still have some sleep to catch up on so I’m going to make it an early night tonight. But first I might enjoy our newly cleaned spa for a while with my husband! And with some of my new solar cell lights decorating our back yard. So pretty!

Our house looks like a flower shop and it smells amazing! A really late night and then an early start due to us having to clean the party place before noon today. Said and done. Our parents came to our rescue and we were able to finish in time.

We have been busy ?? today – me washing up all the table cloths from yesterday (about 40 meters.. lol) and my husband changing water in our spa. Now some relax-time to enjoy all the greetings on facebook and elsewhere. And all my fantastic presents I will enjoy for a long time – fun activities planned with and by my dear dear friends and family! Thank you from the bottom of my heart! ❤❤❤

They say I’m turning 50 tomorrow. Funny. I don’t feel 50. But since it’s a great reason to throw a party I decided to do just that. And it was a great evening and we had so much fun!

We had rented Stuvsta Stationshus for the occasion and catered food and everything worked according to plan. And almost all my guests were able to come too which made me very happy.

My dear friends and family helped make the evening perfect and I was so deeply moved by all the kind words and all the love and special gifts! You are amazing and thank you for making my day so very special!

Friday treat! Starbucks surprised me with a free coffee of my choice as a happy-birthday-treat. Lovely. So I decided to pick it up on my way to work today. Perfect way to start this fun weekend that awaits!

After work I got my nails polished and then we went to pick up the china, cutlery and glasses we have rented for the party. And the washing-up is included in the rental price  so no need to do any dishes before we return everything. Yeah.

Today the sun has been shining non-stop and the temperature is up to around 10-12C which is lovely. Next week we might have a few days with degrees around 15-20C. Can’t wait!

Early meeting at work so I had to get in early. But, I got an  extra treat today – my parents were in town and stopped by to look at our newly renovated office and sit down for a coffee and a chat. Nice!

Preparations in full action and this will be my seating star this weekend. Guess who will be the stars around me? I’m going to leave you in suspense for another couple of days. Lol.

Just me and M home tonight. We have had a taco-Thursday-dinner and now I’ve crashed for a bit while the laundry machine is doing it’s job. Another episode of Grey’s Anatomy to enjoy – perfect!

Wednesday and my short day! With sunshine and no urgent appointments to attend to either. Lovely! Took a walk through the city and looked at the monument of flowers on Sergels Torg remembering the terrorist attack a year ago.

Filled my afternoon with house-chores and got dinner on the table for my guys. My husband switched our winter tires for the summer ones – so he has been a busy bee too. Now time to relax and enjoy the rest of the evening.
