Traffic issues

This week the security police in Sweden have raised the timagehreat level towards our country to the second highest level. It has been a strange week in many ways starting with us attending the huge Madonna concert last weekend. To attend an event with that many people at the same place right after a terrorist attack – was that really smart? On the other hand – like Madonna said in her speech – we can’t let them stop us from enjoying ourselves. Then they would win. Going back and forward to work this  week has also been quite stressful – people behaving differently, problems with buses and trains being late, a lot of people taking the car instead of traveling with public transfer.

Tomorrow we are going to attend another crowded event. Our youngest is about to choose which high school to chose and we are going to the big high school fair. Wish us luck!

Left overs

imageBrrr what a dark rainy Thursday. Not my favorite kind of weather. Just to decide what to wear is a hassle.

Still some green leaves left in our hedge – with pretty frost bites on. Soon snow will be here to brighten up the world. But, the next 10 day prognosis doesn’t promise any snow though – just a mix between rain and sun and -5C to +5C.

Great lasagna left overs for dinner. Best left overs there is.

We won

Amazing. We managed to tie against Denmark yesterday whimageich gave us a total win of 4-3. (2-1 – 2-2). We have now qualified for the European Championships in soccer next summer in France. A lot more fun to follow the tournament when Sweden is playing. And our team captain – Zlatan – will lead the way – as usually.

It is getting colder and colder but no snow yet. But I don’t think it is that far off now.

Santa

Iimage went out on an errand today and this lego santa was greeting all the visitors to the mall welcome. I am not ready for X-mas yet – haven’t even given it a lot of thought, to be honest. No snow yet and not even degrees below 0C, so that winter feeling hasn’t arrived.

Now I’m tucked in my corner cheering on our Swedish soccer team playing Denmark. We won the other day 2-1 and this is the second game (out of two) and if we win this one too, we will qualify for the European Championships in France next summer. So, goo Sweden!

Lasagna

The weekend was gone in no-time. Don’t know how time seems imageto go quicker some days than other. Today was another rather quick day though – very busy at first. Then an appointment with  my naprapath – and now I can move my head anyway I like again!

Filled with new energy I bought groceries on the way home and made a lasagna to treat my boys for dinner. Mmmm. Yum. And the best part – there will be leftovers..

Love in a box

What a day – rainy, cloudy and grey. Perfect day to relax and recover frimageom last night. We didn’t get home until 1:30 AM after the concert. It ended at 12:30 and then it took a while to exit the arena and walk the mile back to the car. Also we were all a bit hungry too after a long evening so we stopped for a quick snack too on the way.

Today we have been to the mall to get some lunch and shopping. Now back in my corner for a coffee, donut and updating on my cyber world.

Exciting Saturday

First half of the day we spent in church at the advents basar raising money for the homeless children in Manilla. It was a very nice couple of hours with a lot of visitors. Me and my sister helped out for a bit too. The choir sang a few carols too as a nice little break and a chance to sit down for a bit. I hope the church managed to raise a lot of money!

Then in the evening we had a special treat for the family – VIP imagetickets to the Madonna concert in Tele2 Arena in Stockholm. She has never held a concert in Stockholm before. We saw her back in 1990 in Gothenburg when she toured with the Blonde Ambition. This time it was the RebelHeartTour. We really enjoyed the evening and it was our first concert together. 40 557 people in the audience – a new record for the arena. She also took a moment to reflect the terrible terrorist attack in Paris yesterday and respect the victims with a minute of silence. A very emotional and powerful moment and very appreciated, I think.

Friday again..

It is gimageetting so dark now – this photo was taken at 4pm today and it felt like it’s 4am. Raining. Dark. I can’t wait for some snow to brighten up the world a bit. But, on the other hand – with snow comes all kinds of other problems (traffic delays etc).

Two more weeks to Advent and all the lights to brighten all the windows. My favorite time of the year. Have a great Friday everyone!

Moving forward

We finally managed to straighten out most of the chaos. Feels imagemuch better. I have serious problems when unorganized. Might need to talk to someone about that. Lol.

Ended a long day with a meeting at my youngest’s school getting filled with information regarding applying for the next level – the “gymnasium”. So many choices and so much to consider. I am looking forward to see what he finally decides to continue with.

Surveillance

imageNoticed that I was caught on camera waiting for my subway.. big brother is watching. Lol. The surveillance cameras are everywhere and I am glad that they are up there looking out for us.

Midweek – I’m going to make a minced meat pie for dinner. My youngest wishes this morning. It is nice when I get home early and have the time to get groceries and cook proper food. Doing it from scratch and get a “mothers-touch” on it.
