Motivation

Today I was treated a special day – I wanted to attend a seminar and my employer agreed. So I choose to go to an event called “motivation day”. Sarah Dawn Finer was the host of imagethe day and presented the discoursers. She did a great job, as usual. I really like her.

First out was Paolo Roberto – the boxer/actor/publisher. Then a lady called Ann Askenberger from Frankling Covey. Paolo was really good talking about how to overcome your fear and to be creative but I was not too impressed by Ann. She was talking about “The 7 habits of highly effective people” but I thought she was kind of hard to follow.

After the lunch break, Jens Lind had his presentation and it was so very good. He is an amazing character and story teller. Then it was a guy called Stefan Hyttfors turn to speak – he was quite interesting –  he was speaker of the year last year – talking about creating your own future.

Then after a short break for coffee, a lady called Inger Hansson talked about a lot of well thought observations and I both laughed and cried through her performance. She was amazing to listen to and was really good at getting the audience attention.

Last out was Robert Gustafsson – he talked about his life and the importance of daring to open new doors and make life changing decisions.

imageSarah summed up a fantastic day by performing for us and sang her own song “Moving On” – very appropriate.

Outside the school Norra Latin across the street from the conference center they had placed the two rain deers from Sergels Torg. They looked very pretty in their new spot.

I have had a great day and I hope that I will be able to attend one of these motivation days again. It has given me a lot to think about and I do feel like I have new energy to face the world.
