For some reason I have longed a bit extra for our paradise today. Still a long time before we are going there again but time goes by rather quickly so hopefully it won’t feel that long. 

It’s been raining today and not nice at all. A storm is coming and they have cancelled train and buses in the south part of Sweden the next day or two. Our paradise will probably get some of the bad weather – don’t know about this area. 

We picked up some skewers for dinner tonight (great to have the car back). Tomorrow we can go grocery shopping again and run our usual errands. Have a nice Friday eve! 

Long day and my lunch date was cancelled. Bummer. She was stuck at work so we will try to see each other next week instead. Fingers crossed we will find a time. 

Made a wok on the left-over meat from yesterday. When I was young my mom made a “pyttipanna” of our left-overs – same thing but with potatoes instead of noodles. I make pyttipanna too sometimes. Love it. Served with a fried egg. Mmm. 

Short busy day and late lunch when I got home. I treated my boys a box of these jelly hearts and the number of hearts are reduced by the hour. Lol.

Made a steak with oven rosted potatoes for dinner tonight. Nice to have time to cook proper food.

We have started to watch a prequel to our favorite series Yellowstone called “1883” – about the ancestors to the lead character of Yellowstone. There is one more prequel which is taking place after this one to look forward to when we’ve finished this one. Perfect.

Alla hjärtans dag – All hearts day – or Valentines Day as they say in the States. I treated my three ❤️❤️❤️ a box of candy hearts and they (or my hubby) treated me three red roses. Same procedures as every year but I love it. And I love my boys. 

Long busy day at work and I am quite happy doing nothing right now. Enjoying some quiet time in my corner with a cup of tea and what’s left of the movie we started watching last night. Happy Valentine’s day everyone! 

New week and time to go back to work again. And first day for our youngest second work-training experience of 10 weeks. I hope he will get something fun and useful to do. 

No car today either – maybe tomorrow. Something about programming the new parts. Who knows. 

We had a visitor yesterday – a quite large rabbit having lunch underneath one of our elder trees. Sometimes it is easy to forget we live so close to a major city with all the wild life we have outside of our doorstep. 

A lazy Sunday. Did our grocery shopping online with delivery tomorrow since we don’t have our car. Made lunch from what we had in the freezer – potato cakes with pancetta. Served with lingonberry jam and orange juice. Not bad. Perfect comfort food on a day off.

Haven’t done much use today and spent most of my day watching TV with my laptop in my knee. We watched a movie together this afternoon on Viaplay – “Old Henry”. We’ll see if we will continue digging thru our freezer or if we order something in tonight.

Friday again and time for my check-up at the naprapath. It went quite well and my shoulder and neck are doing much better. We booked a third treatment next week just in case. Fingers crossed I won’t need it.

Today a colleague worked his last day and is starting a new job next week. He is the first lawyer that has left the firm in, I think, 5 years. Wow. I don’t think I have ever heard of an office with no-one leaving in so many years. Good for us! We sent him off with an afterwork.

Thursday already and quite a busy day. Made burgers with fries when I got back from my long day – turned out pretty good! Served with a glass of non-alcoholic beer. For me that is. 

Crashed in our corners watching a movie on Disney+ tonight – “Wakanda forever”. It’s quite long so we will probably continue another day since it is a workday tomorrow and the alarm will go off before 6 o’clock. I have my follow-up session with the naprapath tomorrow – fingers crossed she will work her magic and fix the rest of the problem.
