Third of advent already. A relaxing day fixing this and that. Started to work on my this years’  yearbook that I make with photo memories from the past year. Selected which photos I want in the book and downloaded them to get a start. A great project for the holidays. 

Made a fish casserole for dinner and steaks for the boys. Now some corner time watching a summary from the Nobel events last night. So fun to see all the food, beautiful dresses, stunning jewelry, flower decorations, great performances etc. etc. Sweden at its best showing the world how to host a grand magnificent party.  

A great day off. Got a lot done besides from the usual Saturday chores. My hubby and I went to the local mall to hand in two of my bracelets to the local jeweller that needs fixing and they thought they could help. Perfect. Saves me a lot of money. 

Also found a new dress that I bought – always nice to have something new to wear to work! My hubby approved too so that was nice. 

Made a lasagna tonight and burgers for my oldest. Now we are watching a movie on Netflix called “The Swimmers”. 

Waiting for the bus in a magic winter wonderland. Full moon behind me – the lights in the photo are street lights. Friday again – don’t know where time flies. 

A very busy day but everything went according to plan. Decided to try on a some clothes on my way home and bought a new pair of jeans. The rest of the things weren’t for me. Would love a new dress and desperately need a new handbag, but can’t find what I want. Bummer. 

Made a steak with potato gratin for dinner. Now I’m enjoying a glas of nice red while tucked in my corner. Let the weekend begin! 

Woahh what a day. Two very big assignments at work that took all day. Puh. But I made it. 

Nothing to prepare dinner with at home so we went to get some pizza instead. Mmm. I chose one with shrimp, ham & pineapple. Delicious. 

It’s been freezing outside today with -8C. The forecast promises more snow but nothing today so far. Friday tomorrow – another crazy busy day but then a whole weekend to follow with no plans! Lovely! 

Midweek and worked from home today since I had some me-time booked with another massage. My left shoulder and lover back aren’t cooperating right now. Might need a naprapath instead. 

Made a tuna sallad for lunch and tonight me and the boys had tacos. Hubby had a work-thing so he came home a bit later. Now some corner-time before it’s time to hug my pillow. Tomorrow I’m going back to the office again for a long day. And quite a lot on the agenda too. 

My hubby challenged me to freshen up a second language other than English. He is practicing German and our oldest son Japanese. I chose Spanish and have been able to keep it up since summer holidays with a few minutes every day (some days more than a few.. ). Today I received a 2022 year in review-info and it shows that I’m a top 2% learner. Wow.

Long day at work and very busy. Had a nice lunch with a dear friend of mine – great to see her again. We booked another lunch in January to have something fun to look forward to.

December and the last couple of weeks of this year has begun. Went to post the Xmas-greetings that will travel outside of Sweden this morning – great to get them sent off early.

Worked a short day today and went to some stores on my way home to see if I could find some presents for Xmas. Still have some things to get before I’m done and still waiting for a few things that I’ve ordered online. 

I wasn’t able to sleep this morning so I got up instead. Started some laundry, had a quiet breakfast, watched some TV, did the ironing.

This afternoon we went over to Kungens Kurva for some shopping but we ended up driving back with little accomplished. I found some thread to my curtains that I will adjust whenever I feel up for the challenge, so that was good at least.

Time to light the second candle of advent and start dinner in a bit. Going to make cod for me and hubby I think. Something else for the boys.

On our way to our car last night we walked passed these elks. Love the Xmas-decorations in Stockholm! 

We slept in a bit this morning and after breakfast we had a regular Saturday with all the chores. This afternoon my hubby put up the lights outside our house – so pretty! 

Now we’ve had some afternoon tea with yesterdays flavor from his calendar since we didn’t have any tea last night at home. This one was a ginger flavored great tea. Going to have todays flavor tonight. 

A day filled with work, preparations, getting ready. Lots of steps to add.

We had a big event tonight to show our new office and share a nice evening together with our spouses and colleagues. And it turned out great – with great food, drinks and lovely to meat everybody! 

My hubby took the car into town so we got back home alright. The boys had ordered a take-away with home delivery – so they got a treat too! We got back at around 01.30 and they were still up playing games with their friends online.
