Midweek. And the forecast promised sun. So I decided to clean the last parts of the house and also change the bedsheets for the boys. My sister and brother-in-law went into town to get some window moulding to do the last finishing touches on their new window.
It was 21 C in the ocean today – so nice. Usually we only go down there in the morning but today we went for a swim in the afternoon too.
My sister and I have made these ghosts out of concrete dipped in towels – she is so clever doing these art-things! I can’t take any credit but it was fun to do one! Mine is the second one from the right. It will be fun to see what they look like once they have dried.
Tonight we had a Greek feast with the wine and ouzo we brought back from Rhodes. My uncle came along too. We made skewers with chicken and pork, our own tzatziki, garlic bread and Greek sallad served with rice and French fries. Lovely!
