Important game tonight. Tre Kronor are facing Finland. Always a bit extra spark to those games – neighbor to neighbor.

Our first goalie was sick the first game and Markström had to jump in and did an amazing job. Tonight  Lundqvist is able to play and let’s hope he ‘s able to guard the goal just as well as Markström did. Fingers crossed! May the best team win and may the best team be Sweden! Lol.

Ps! Sweden-Finland 2-0 

A fun week to look forward to. The world cup tournament has started and three important games for Tre Kronor to play. Won the first one yesterday. Then time for the second and third one on Tuesday and Wednesday. Lot’s of hockey to enjoy almost every day. Perfect.

Since there was no hockey tonight I accompanied my parents to Eriksdalshallen to look at some handball live instead. Hammarby-Redbergslid. It was a good game and quite even the first 20 minutes or so. But we ended up loosing the game 25-21. Got a bit starstruck since Magnus Wieslander was coaching the other team. He used to be one of the great Swedish players once upon a time.

Sunday and another sunny day to enjoy. It was a fall market day at Herrängens Gård today and we had made plans with my sister and another friend and their hubbies to meet up for coffees there. It was a bit crowded so we didn’t find any seats outdoor so we enjoyed the coffee and cake indoor instead. We bought great jam at the fair – one jar with wild raspberries and one jar with cloudberries. Mmmm.

Tonight Sweden play our first game in the World Cup Tournament in ice hockey that takes place in Toronto. Fingers crossed we will do great and go far in this tournament. Might need to put on my jersey for this one.

Ps! 2-1 Sweden-Russia 

Our youngest stayed out all night – they had a LAN at his school that started last night and went on until this morning. Everybody brought their own computers and played a tournament all night. They had a great time but he was kind of tired today. Lol.

Me and my oldest went to the grocery store by ourselves today. First time he drove with me as a supervisor. He did great and we got there with no problem. Yeah!

Time to enjoy a well deserved time in front of the tv and have some apple cake I made earlier. Mmm.

Friday. I met up with a dear friend for lunch – it was a while ago since we last met so we had a lot of catching up to do. It’s great to keep in touch with friends who have been a part of your whole life. You share a special bond with a person like that.

Now some “fredagsmys” infront of the tv enjoying a drink and a silly movie. And a whole weekend ahead – let’s hope the nice weather stays on.

Weekend getting closer. Lovely weather in Stockholm still.

We bought a box of these goodies last weekend. My husband loves them more than I do, but they are alright.

It is fascinating how some things become sort of legendary. Mozartkugeln – Mozartkulor in Swedish – are one of those things. Anyone who can think of anything else in that category?

Today we celebrated two birthdays at work and these great cakes were really delicious. One passion fruit mousse cake and one chocolate-meringue-whipped cream one. Mmm. So, sallad for lunch.. sallad for dinner.. and a long walk .. lol

Home-made burgers for the family tonight.

Been very busy all day. I had to run across town to buy a few things  and passed this busy ant – felt appropriate to include him/her here. There are two ants holding a green straw each – they are pretty cool, I think.

Still summer in the city. Lovely.

Back to work again – Stockholm was really beautiful today with the same fantastic weather as we have had all weekend in Vienna.

After work I had an appointment with my naprapath (felt like ages ago since last time) and he took care of my shoulder which has give me a lot of problems lately. I took the bus back to the subway and I love the view of the city from Västerbron.

A light dinner .. now sofa time .. maybe a coffee ..

Time goes by so quickly when you are having fun. I think all of us fell in love with Vienna – what a lovely city. I am sure I will return here one day. We went out for a walk after breakfast and sat down for a last Austrian coffee before it was time to head back to the airport and catch the flight home. This time we had to switch flights in Berlin but everything went without any problems and we arrived safely at home later in the evening.

I hope my parents had the best weekend – I sure did – and I am so happy we could do this trip together. And I am also very proud of our kids who stayed at home by themselves with school nights and other responsibilities. They are growing up so fast.
