A day of luxury. A few hours of quality time with my mom. A nice coffee together. A good chat. ♡
And shopping for a birthday gift for dad. Mission accomplished.Still grey and foggy outside. No weather that invites you to go for a long walk. So, a nice afternoon at home with my sons. Enjoying the last day of the winter break.
Klipp o fix
A couple of days off to relax and regain energy. Started my day with some me-time at my hairdresser. Lovely.
Then I made the kids pancakes and we had a nice lunch together.
I have been doing some chores too – a few rounds of laundry and a tour to throw away boxes, glass and tin-cans.
Almost time to start dinner.. chili with rise. Mmmm..

In the very old fashioned way the tradition demands our king today announced the names of his new granddaughter. The photos are Copyright Kungahuset.se
She will be called Her Royal Highness Princess Leonore Lilian Maria and she will be the duchesse of Gotland.

Sportlov
Enjoying a nice day off from work. It’s a school break this week and we decided not to travel anywhere and instead stay home gathering energy and just take the days as they come. I will work two days this week and spend time with my boys the rest.
Today we tried to buy a new trampoline but the store said they will get the new ones in the middle of April. We booked one but we will have to wait like everyone else. So, after Easter maybe. .
Sotji – last day
What a day – we won a silver in the hockey final – Canada was the stronger team and congratulations to the winners are in order. But, great job Tre Kronor, you did us proud!
The 50 km skiers this morning didn’t manage to get to the top three but they came in 7th, 8th and 9th which is awesome.
We have had the best Olympic games in years – with 15 medals! 2 gold – 7 silver – 6 bronze. It has been two fun weeks with a lot of great events to follow! Already looking forward to the next one..
My own app!! or not :(
I thought I had built my first app for my blog. Without any help!
But, I think in the end all I managed was to turn it into a mobile-friendly page if you use an android. Maybe I shall delete it again. What do you think?
When we tried it on another mobile it didn’t download an icon but it showed the webpage in a mobile friendly way without installing an app, which is much better, really. But you can also bookmark the page if you prefer and have a bookmark on your mobile. Don’t choose the view off-line version – it is quite big.
Don’t click on the link to my site via fb if you are on your mobile phone – instead open the browser (the internet-globe) and type the address yourself!
I would love your feedback in the comments field on this please!
Mello – 4
Today we have enjoyed a very nice brunch at the Elite Hotel Saltsjöqvarn to celebrate my aunts sisters birthday! It was very nice and the food was very good. So fun to meet everyone too!
The last part of the Melodifestivalen takes place tonight and we are invited to my sisters’ again. Our turn to bring the wine – but my husband is not well so we have to go without him. This winter has really been hard on us with one flue to the next for months. Now we need spring and a nice break in our paradise to regain some energy.
Straight to the finale: Anton Evald and Alcazar
Second chance: Ammotrack and Ellinor
Sotji – day 15
The Olympics has almost come to an end – only this weekend left to enjoy. It’s been one of the most successful Olympics in a long time for Sweden – and still chances left to fine performances and medals.
Today we had a poor start with the women 30 km cross country mass start. Our ski-queen was not really well today with a slight cold and she wasn’t able to match the other ladies. Emma Wiken was best of the Swedish ladies today and ended up on the 8th position. Very good job on her behalf.
The men’s slalom – second run starts in an hour – so far all four Swedes are doing quite well. Let’s hope one or two of the manages all the way – they are in the 2nd and 3rd position right now.
Men’s biathlon isn’t going well for us unfortunately. Our team has not been successful this year.
New baby
A lot of things to celebrate today and on top of all our princess Madeleine gave birth to a baby girl. Her husband was on the news sharing their joy.
My biggest joy today had nothing to do with babies and everything to do with hockey. Can’t wait for Sunday, tucked in my corner cheering on our pride and joy.
Added a counter here today – looking forward to see if anyone is interested in “the world – as I see it”..
