Tonight the following countries are competing ; Armenia, Ireland, Moldova, Switzerland, Estonia, Romania, Denmark, Sweden, Austria, Croatia, Malta, Lithuania, Russia, Albania, Norway, The Netherlands, North Macedonia and Azerbaijan. Go Sweden!

I was invited to a social event at the Sparrow Hotel after work – they have opened an after work bistro and wine bar and Mathias Dahlgren is the chef in charge so the food was excellent! Enjoyed a small glas of rosé before I headed back home after a very long day.

Oh, and Sweden won over Austria 9-1. Yeah. Now we only have the more qualified countries left to play. The walk in the park is over..

Ps.. we made it to the finale!

Mellofinalen

Wow. Already time for the finale. And what a great competition we’ve had so far – and so much fun that we have been able to see each other on all the selections (except one when one family was sick but the rest of us got together anyway).

Tonight we are gathering at my sisters house. We have bought a cheese tray with a selection of different very smelly cheeses (lol). They will be lovely to eat but I can’t say I will miss having them in our fridge (lol).

Melodifestivalen this year has been led by Sarah Dawn Finer, Kodjo Akolor, Marika Carlsson and Eric Saade and the finale takes place at Friends Arena.

1. John Lundvik – ”Too Late for Love” – WINNER!
2. Bishara – ”On My Own”

5. Mohombi – Hello”
6. Wiktoria – ”Not With Me”

The jury groups where from Australia, Cyprus, Finland, France, Israel, Portugal, Great Britain and Austria – all of them gave John Lundvik 12 points.

Karin won the trophy – she managed to guess the top three correct and scored 4 correct. Congrats!

2nd chance

Time to send the last four contestants to the finale. And as usual they are competing two and two. Tonight they are in Nyköping.
