Pyssel hos M – 20 Feb 2017

Mums!

3d weather

Dis dimma duggregn .. mist fog and drizzle  .. A weekend with no sunshine what so ever. Yesterday we stopped for a coffee on our walk and I then took this photo. Today we spent more hours in the arena since it was the day of finales and a lot to cheer on. But, we managed to get a couple of hours of looking in a few stores too, lol.

Hammarby had a good weekend with a lot of personal bests and good achievements. 2 gold medals too! Congratulations Timothy and Grete!

The train ride back home was a lot less bumpy (thank God) and we arrived safely back in town around 10.30 PM.

IJSM

Indoor Junior Championships in track-and-field at Friidrottens Hus in Gothenburg. The best athletes in the ages 17, 19 and 22 competing for 2 days. I haven’t been in this arena for quite a while and it was good to be back. Hammarby (our team) was represented by 15-20 girls and boys and we tried to give them all the support we could.

In the afternoon me and my mom took the cable car in to the city to have a look around and walk for a bit. We then went back to the arena for a while before it was time to join our team for the dinner they had organized close to the hotel. Another great day (even though the weather was about as grey and rainy as it was yesterday).

Gullbergsvass

Friday and time to take the fast train down to the second largest city in Sweden – Gothenburg. A whole weekend filled with fun track-and-field awaits together with my parents!

The train ride was quite shaky – almost felt like turbulence on an airplane – and it was very foggy outside so you couldn’t really focus on the view either. 3 hrs later we finally arrived on the east coast and checked in to the hotel. As you can see from my room with a view – the weather wasn’t really pleasant.

But, the dinner was. We went to Sjöbaren in Haga and I enjoyed an amazing fish soup and a glass of white (or two..). A very nice ending of a long day.

Tired

A full day copying binders. Unbelievable how tired I get after standing up for 6-7 hrs. I’m not 20 anymore, that’s for sure. Lol. But, I got through them all. Yeah!

Packed my bag for the weekend get-away with my parents. Just need to remember to bring it tomorrow. My head is all over the place right now so I hope I won’t forget it. And I hope I packed the right things. Time will tell.

Double cheese

Quite a busy short day filled with deliveries and such. Off early and stopped for an “American lunch” – lol. Double cheese burger on the menu today. With a small fries and a coffee.

My parents stopped by this afternoon for some it-support from their helpful daughter .. New iPad – a lot to learn!

A quiet evening relaxing and packing some for my weekend away. This time I’m going to Gothenburg with my parents for some track-and-field fun!

Valentine’s Day ❤???

February 14th – Valentine’s Day – or “All the hearts day” as we say here in Sweden.

My hubby surprised me with 3 red roses and a gift – a fancy cordless headset that I have been curious about. Unfortunately they didn’t fit my ears… So disappointed – it was such a nice gift and he had gone through the effort in getting them for me. I hope he can return them even though I have opened the box and tried them on.

I always buy a box of sugarcoated jelly hearts for my boys – but they were no where to be found in town today. Bet I went to 6 different stores but no luck.

Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!

Week 7

Another week ahead. My family is starting to feel the winter tiredness – hard to get up in the mornings, tired all the time, difficult to get motivated to get stuff done. We need spring, sunshine and new energy.

Monday morning means an extra  early start for me. This morning the moon was really pretty and it was still dark outside. Tomorrow I will leave an hour later and then the sun will be up. And in a few weeks my Mondays will have daylight in the mornings too. Can’t wait.

Sunday

Sunday and sunshine – unlike last Sunday when it was snowing heavily all day. A bit tired today after the late party last night. I had some problems sleeping too so I will probably need to hug the pillow a bit early tonight to get ready for a new week at the office.

We went over to my parents to sign some papers (❤) and have a coffee. Then we took a nice walk back home in the lovely sunny weather. Found a bag of “potatisbullar” (sort of like hash browns) in the fridge which was a perfect lunch today. Then my mother-in-law stopped by with some left-over-cake and dinner from the party. Perfect!

Birthday party

Today it is mother-in-laws’ birthday and she had invited friends and family to a big dinner tonight. They live in an apartment and the housing cooperative has a few perks for their apartment owners. One is a fully equipped place to have meetings or throw a party. You can sit 50 people in there and you have access to chairs, tables, china, glasses and whatever you need to set a table for your guests. It has a kitchen where you can prepare your food etc. A perfect place for a party!

We had a lovely evening together and she had prepared a delicious 3-course dinner for us. Afterwards we stayed and helped  with the dishes and some tidying up. I hope she had the great day she deserves!
