I’m home now. Grateful to not have left work a bit
early today. Grateful to be spared most of the awfulness that happened very close to my work today. A man stole a truck and drove it 500 m on the busiest shopping street in town. Killed and injured people. Chaos in the city. The police closed down the city center (buses, subways, commuter trains etc) and encouraged people to remain indoors for several hours. My husband managed to walk over to my job and after have waited 2-3 hrs we dared to start the long walk back home. Together with my oldest niece and her dad. Thousands and thousands of people trying to get home – in a long general exodus. Let’s say a prayer they will catch this terrorist. And that this was the end of it – and not just the beginning of something more. Be safe out there everyone!
