My oldest turns 19 tomorrow but we decided to celebrate him today since it’s a day off and time to enjoy a party. We went to Delicato yesterday and bought some goodies – these rocky road brownies were great. The birthday boy received some really nice presents but I think his favorite was the board game he wanted – Terra Mystica. A bit too complicated for me but my sister, niece, husband and both sons enjoyed it for several hours.
It’s been a good day – lovely to have everyone over except for my dad who couldn’t get away from a track and field competition. Russia crushed the US with 7-2 in the bronze game and now I am cheering on Finland who are facing Canada in the final.
