We were invited to a sneak preview of a new movie called “Rental Family” tonight. Our lessor at work have these movie-nights for their tenants every year and it is usually a very good choice of movie and we have never been disappointed.
Brendan Fraser played the leading part and the movie was about “An American actor in Tokyo struggling to find purpose lands an unusual gig: working for a Japanese “rental family” agency, playing stand-in roles for strangers. He rediscovers purpose, belonging, and the beauty of human connection.”
A true feel-good movie with both laughter and tears. Very emotional and gave me and my colleague a lot to think about. A nice evening!
