A different midsummer this year. Due to the virus we decided to stay at home and not see all of our friends like we use to.
So, my parents-in-law came over for a great traditional lunch – they brought most of the food so that was an extra nice treat. My husband baked a bread and I boiled some eggs and fresh potatoes. We could sit outside – a very warm sunny midsummer with no rain.
Later on my sister, brother-in-law and youngest niece came over for dinner. We bbq two kinds of meat, corn on the cob and could enjoy another lovely meal on our porch. We tried one of M’s new board games – Decrypto – and afterwards we played “Idiotic questions” which triggered a lot of discussions and laughter while enjoying some cheese, cold cuts, olives and crackers. A perfect ending of a lovely day.
