The world

Saturday. Sunshine and clear blue sky. But a bit chilly. After my exercises and breakfast I decided to treat my kids plättar for lunch. Plättar are thin Swedish pancakes but really small – you use the same size pan but with 7 small sections in it. I had steamed cod with veggies.. it was lovely to sit outside and enjoy a nice meal.

After that I got busy and cut the grass. My oldest helped some too which was great.  I hope my husband appreciates my effort.. we will see later when he gets back.

Friday! And the grill is on! First bbq this spring. And a whole weekend with no plans ahead (besides some homework..)

Life is pretty good!

Today I surprised myself by walking up all the stairs to the office. Five floors up. And I did my exercises this morning too. I actually start to feel and notice a difference but I struggle with being hungry.. but it will be worth it in the end. 

No sallad for lunch today – longed for sushi. Unfortunately this one was not that great so I was disappointed.  They are usually pretty good though.

Tonight my youngest is going to the sneak opening of the amusement park – especially for gold card members. I hope he has a fantastic evening with his cousin and friends.

What a day – the weather has been absolutely gorgeous.  I’ve been able to wear my new knitted cardigan and I love it.

After an afternoon at the hospital where my youngest got his second round of allergi shots we came back home and baked scones together. He is quite a clever little chef and I am really enjoying my tea tonight!

Back to work again. It was actually quite ok – I’ve been so busy all day the time just flew by. Spring is here with lovely weather and sunshine. Today I went via my oldest school so I took the commuter train to work.  A nice stroll on a couple of K to start the day. Now on my last bus – still nice and sunny even though it’s close to 7 pm. Have a great eve!

My birthday present from my parents – it was perfect in our livingroom!

Today the sun has been shining all day – we have been working in the garden all day.

We have bought the new trampoline – an oval one – so our youngest is on cloude nine. We have a round one for sale – if you are interested.

Now tucked in my corner cheering on Hammarby playing soccer towards Ängelholm. Last week they played great – let’s hope for a rerun!

Our week together has come to an end and it was time to go back to the city again. So, we packed up, cleaned the house and drove the 6-7 hrs in clear sunshine and blue sky. My only wish for this week was that the nice weather would have come a bit earlier – it was a bit too windy and rainy the first couple of days for my liking. But, the other half of the week was wonderful!

Now we have bought groceries, the laundry machine is filled with the first pile of clothes and I am enjoying a latte, my computer and a taped sequeal on the TV – “Killing”. And we are off tomorrow too – so one more day before we are all back to school and work again.

A bright sunny day.. enjoying my birthday present together with my youngest. I really love my new chair – it will be my new favorite place.

We have celebrated this last day together in paradise with a glass of bubbly after finishing putting in the new door and window in our house.

Today spring arrived and we have been able to be outdoors all day. Let’s hope for one more sunset tonight.. they are good for the soul and gives me energy to last for another while. Unfortunately I’m still coughing. .

It has really been a great Easter break and I feel sad it has already come to an end – but also very grateful that we could all be down here for a whole week together. Life is good!

Alböke Kyrka – the original parts were built in the 11th century but the church was formed the way it is today in 1862. A piece of history. We went to Good Friday mass at noon.

Now it is time for the big Easter smorgasbord with this chocolate cake for dessert. Not great weather today so it’s nice to be indoor and enjoy the food, company and view!

Today it is very windy and cloudy. But we took an hour walk and tried to walk off some of that good food we ate yesterday.

Later on we will treat ourselves a dinner out and after that some of us will go to church for Easter mass.

Föra Kyrka has an Easter sermon tonight at 19:00. I have never been to mass on Öland so that will be interesting.
