Karin

Flag up for my sis and oldest niece today – congratulations Karin! A sunny day for the most part but we had some rain in the afternoon. A bit cooler outside – you can feel a change in the weather.
And also congratulations to our Swedish ladies who made it to the final in soccer after defeating Australia today in the semi final. We will be facing Canada who defeated the US in their semi. Unfortunately they will play the final at 4 AM on Friday… Bummer.

I made a taco pulled pork for dinner and it turned out pretty good. Served with nachos, salsa and guacamole. We went for a quick walk after dinner but had to cut it a bit short due to some more rain.

Baby pumpkin

Sunday again. Where does time fly? After morning swim (still above 20C in the ocean) and breakfast we went to get some more groceries and also took some stuff to the waste disposal site.

We’ve watched some more Olympic sports today – two more medals – one silver in swimming 50m (Sarah Sjöström) and one silver in sailing (Josefin Olsson). Also some more track-and-field athletes thru to the finals. And the last group-play in handball for our men who made it to the quarter-finals facing Spain in a few days.

One of our pumpkin plants has a baby pumpkin so far. Fingers crossed it will grow into a big pumpkin and also that we will get some more from the other plants.

We have worked some outside today – cut off all the bushes growing behind of our house, completed renovating our window and also filled black bags with a lot of the branches we’ve cut so far so we can easier transport them to the waste disposal site.
