Another day with my excellent little assistant. She did good today too and I think she has enjoyed being with me at work. We had a short day today and went for lunch together after we’d finished. Starbucks chicken/bacon butty and a lemon poppy seed muffin to share served with one latte and one mangojuice. Yum.

We strolled through the Sturegallerian going to the subway and then she helped me pick up a few surprises for our graduating son in Skärholmen. Now some me-time before it’s time to get started on tonights dinner.

Today I have had an assistant all day and I will tomorrow too! Yeah! My youngest niece is doing her PRAO (practical work orientation) and asked to follow me to work for two days. She has been a busy bee all day and helped me with all kinds of things – all with a smile and done with perfection.

I hope today didn’t scare her off from future work in an office! It was a busy day today which, I assume, was a lot more fun for her than if it would have been a quiet one. Let’s see what tomorrow brings.

.. that we all have been waiting for. My oldest graduates on Friday. Time for him to enjoy the last week of school. Then new challenges awaits. Exciting! 

When I arrived in town this morning I noticed this sign on one of the buildings by Stureplan. I always wondered where they lived – the monsters in town. Lol.

It’s been a very sunny and warm day today. Lovely. And I had an appointment with my naprapath and now I am as good as new again. Life is not so bad!

Happy mothers day to all mothers out there. I am so blessed to be one of them – being a mother to two young men (no, they are not little boys any more). I am so very proud of them both! Today they greeted me with a new hammock and a big hug! Made my day! And it stopped raining too and was quite pleasant for a bit! Lovely!

This photo was taken during Easter break down in our paradise. My sister is also a mother and I love my (her) girls to bits. She has done an amazing job being a mom to these young ladies.

We both have our fantastic mother (and father) to thank for being who we are and I hope and pray we will be able to be good role models to our kids too so that maybe one day they will be good parents too, if they have children.

What a day. One visit to the grocery store. And one visit to the grocery outlet store. They sold green jelly frogs .. in very big packs .. I wonder who put that in the basket? I’m innocent.

Most of the things ready food and drink wise. And one day left of the weekend! Let’s make good use of tomorrow! Still need to get some stuff done upstairs. Unfortunately we can’t finish the boys rooms since the electrician still hasn’t been here. I am not very good at waiting. Have to work on that.

Where did this week go?  It’s been raining almost every day and been quite chilly. But, they have promised better weather for next week. I pray they are correct in that forecast. Especially next Friday it would be great if it was filled with sunshine and lovely weather when we have a graduation to attend to and guests coming over to celebrate.

Now a whole weekend ahead with a lot of things to plan and get prepared for next week. But first – fredagsmys and fresh strawberries that they sold in the market today. Yum!

It was a great investment with the air conditioning system – it’s cold and rainy today. Lol. Not exactly according to plan but anyway. It still isn’t working though – the electricians haven’t been here yet.

The indoor part takes up most of the wall above the windows – have to figure out a way to put the blinds back up. I think they might fit but the curtains will definitely be a challenge. The price to pay for a better indoor climate.

We made an investment decision to once and for all take care of our house being too warm indoor when it is hot outside. We have been struggling a bit with which solution is the best and after an expert had gone over our situation he recommended us to get two air-conditioning systems – one for each side of the house. Said and done. After a full day of work we now have one system below each bedroom upstairs. And any day they will return to connect all the electricity too.. Lol. Nothing is like waiting, hey.

Monday. I had a hard time sleeping last night – too many things on my mind. Fortunately, those things that needed to work this morning did. Yeah! Good planning pays off!

Our lilacs have started to bloom now. The one flower that represents graduation for me. When I was little and went to that last day of school before summer break, there were always lilacs in our classroom. Smelling gorgeous. A happy thought. Nice to hold on to when things are tough. Fingers crossed the next couple of weeks will go as planned. That would make me smile.
