A nice sunny day but still quite chilly. We walked over to Boquerian today and I chose their haddock with shrimps. Mmm. Perfect lunch. Not too rich either with the tomato sauce and no dairy products.
I had my performance review today and got some feedback over my work. But, mostly it was a discussion what to do with our current situation being one person short since a few months. We have managed quite well so far, but it is not a sustainable situation over time. A lot to figure out and choices to make going forward.
An important soccer game tonight with Sweden facing Poland. The winner gets to participate in the World Championships this summer. So, a lot to gain for the winning team. We have the home-game favor but it will be a struggle, I think. Fingers crossed!

Two more days this month. Three more days until I have some time off. Longing for my sunset. Quality time with the family. Easter celebrations. Traditions. Giving thanks. Long walks. Boardgames. Soccer season starting. First game on Sunday.
Short day today but still tiring with a lot of different things to sort. Had some time to relax this afternoon which was good. Now I’m getting dinner ready for the troops. Spagetti bolognese. Looking forward to sitting down enjoying dinner together. Best time of the day.
Daylight saving
Today we switched over to summer time to save an hour of daylight for the afternoon. I like this switch better than moving over to winter time. Now I get to go up earlier (since I can’t sleep in the mornings this is perfect for me), have lunch and dinner earlier, go home from work earlier and go to bed earlier. Lol. Win-win for me.
Our ladies are playing their first game this season in the Damallsvenskan today. I’ve been watching a friendship game that our guys have played towards Kongsvinger this afternoon. I’m trying to put together my Fantasy Allsvenskan-team. Next weekend the Allsvenskan starts – will this be the season Hammarby win? Lots of new players that need to figure out their place and role in the team. Great that they are doing all these pre-tournament games for practice.
Me-time
Woke up early today – no surprises here. Lol. After our regular Saturday rounds I had booked some me-time at Body Care Center. Perfect. Next time booked 6 weeks from now. Would have like it to be a bit closer, but April is a busy month.

Tonight our youngest is out with his friends enjoying the gift he got for his birthday from his grandparents – bowling and dinner. I hope they have a great time! The rest of us will walk over to the new food truck across the street and buy some thai food.

Finally Friday! What a hectic week. And we went out with a bang too. An afterwork event with everything that means. Preparations high and low. But, it went great and it was nice to sit down, enjoy a glass of wine and a little something to eat.
Took the subway home and now I’m tucked in my corner. Ready for a nice weekend to start. Today it was a really sunny day and fingers crossed it will stay that way for a while. But, I think rain is in the forecast unfortunately.

A day filled with new insights and ideas about possibilities and how to make great use of the AI programs we have. So much to consider, new angles to see things from, new ways of doing things. Interesting but challenging. Takes a lot of energy.
After a day like this it would be amazing to spend a few days like we did on the cruise – enjoying the lovely weather, doing crosswords and looking at the endless sea. Perfect. No musts, have-to’s or need to figure things out besides completing the crossword puzzle.
Game night
A rainy day but with some silver lining. First I had a nice lunch with a former colleague. We had a lot to talk about and the food at the restaurant was great, so a very nice lunch.
Tonight I had a date with my dad and we went to cheer on our team playing handball. They managed to loose a big lead to a small lost 34-33 in the last second, so that was not good. But, we will end up on third place regardless in the group play and now the series continues with the top 8 teams.
Great news for our soccer ladies who have reached the semi finals in the UEFA Women’s Europa Cup. They won the first leg (funny name) towards the Czech team Sparta Praha with 3-2. Leg 2 is played next week in Stockholm. The other semi finals was between Häcken and the German team Eintracht and Häcken won 3-0. So great evening for the Swedish teams!
Orchid
Long busy day and not great weather with rain during the afternoon.
This lovely orchid was a present from my parents-in-law for Xmas and it has bloomed ever since. Amazing. We must have a good window for orchids because they seem to like being there.
Now my husband has returned from his work-trip and all four of us could enjoy dinner together. I just made some meatballs with pasta – quick and easy since I arrived home late. No, I don’t make my own meatballs – lol – the frozen ones are just fine.
New me
Today I had an appointment with my hairdresser. She waved her magic wand and made my grey hair disappear. Also made my once dark hair slightly brighter without using bleach. So, I’m not a blonde again, but more sun-kissed and ready to welcome spring.
Short day at work but I managed to complete a few invoices that I had on my desk to finish. Great. A very busy week ahead so an afternoon to myself giving me a bit of a boost was probably a good idea. My hubby is away on a work thing with an overnight stay so it is just me and the boys at home tonight. We made a bolognese for dinner and now we are all busy with our own things.
Waffles
Managed to sleep in a bit this morning after being up late last night. So that was good.
Best leftovers for lunch with the dinner from last night. Not bad.
We were invited to my parents-in-law for a lovely afternoon waffles treat. So nice to see them for a bit and catch up. And to enjoy freshly made waffles. Mmm.
This afternoon it was the semifinals in the Svenska Cupen and Hammarby managed to juggle thru after over time and penalty shots. Won 3-3 towards Sirius (4-2 in penalty shots). And Mjällby won 3-0 towards GAIS. So, Hammarby vs. Mjällby in the finale on May 14th.
