Venice, Italy 🇮🇹

Our last day and last tour to enjoy. We arrived in Venice early in the morning and left on our tour at 8AM.

A boat ride with a guide took us to the island Murano – famous for its glass factory since almost 800 years. A glass blower showed us how to make a few things and then we could take a look around in the shop and exhibition.

Then another boat ride took us to Venice for some free time to have a look around. We saw the gondolas and the men in special costumes managing the boats. We saw the amazing palace, church and San Marco square. We found the HardRock Café to get Peter another cap – we bought one in Athens too. And refrigerator magnets – of course!

After the tour was over we were taken back to the harbor and transfered to the airport to get back home again. Everything went well except for the last flight from Frankfurt (not via Vienna this time) which was a bit delayed. Arriving in Stockholm our luggage was delivered after a long wait and we got back home around 3AM. Puh.
