Thursday and an afternoon in lovely Borgholm on the schedule. First we went to see the Solliden Castle with its art exhibitions and lovely gardens. Ended the hour long walk with a Swedish fika at Kaffestugan. Then a quick stop at the Borgholm Castle Ruin to have a look around. The Castle was closed due to a concert event taking place this evening.
After the castle visits we drove down to Borgholm to look around in the center of the city. Strolled up and down the main street and finally met up with the rest of the family for a nice dinner at Verandan down by the harbor. Some of us had fish & chips, some pizza and one had a burger.
Tonight we decided to get a dip in the ocean. This morning there was a lot of algae’s so we couldn’t go in. But tonight it was clear and the water was lovely. 21.1C / 69.98F believe it or not. Now we are nice and cool and ready for bed.
