First morning dip in the ocean with only 15.7C / 60.2F as the water temperature. Brrr. But, we made it!
We had a slow first half of the day but did a short walk around the area. In the afternoon we decided to go for a ride in the car to see some more of Öland. So, we drove north and stopped by Sandviks Kvarn, Jordhamn’s limestone grinding mill and the limestone racks up by Byrum where you have the Blå Jungfrun island right opposite from the racks. A nice drive.
Tonight we have bbq chicken and oven baked potatoes, enjoyed another amazing sunset after watching the “Allsång” and had our Tuesday treats – as per usual. Now we are all a bit red from all the sun and tired – ready to hug our pillows and get energized for tomorrow’s adventure.
