Early this morning a terrible rainfall woke me up but I was able to fall back asleep again and when it was time to get up the sun was shining! Perfect 

Me and mom went grocery shopping after breakfast and then we have been enjoying the sun all afternoon. 

I made minute-steaks for dinner served with fries and a sallad. We could sit outside, but the wind was a bit chilly. Tonight we have had some “fredagsmys” watching some TV and snacking in some brie and crackers. 

A fun Thursday! 

A friend of mine from way back was here visiting her sister and called to see if we could meet up and we had a lovely chat! Great to see her again. 

After lunch we packed all nine of us into our cars and drove down to Kalmar for a day of fun starting with some go-cart. After that we ran some errands in town before it was time to go to the restaurant Söderport for a nice dinner. 

We ended the fun day with an outdoor theatre at Krusenstiernska. This was, I think, the fourth time we have attended their summer shows and so far we have never been disappointed. And tonight the weather was perfect and we had a lovely time! This is the last year the show will be held at this place, next year they will have their theatre at a different location in Kalmar. So extra fun to be there one last time. 

Our team lost their away-game in Belgium unfortunately. After 1-1 at home last week we needed to win to go thru in the Europa League. But, no such luck and we lost 3-1 (4-2 after two games).  I think we still have a chance for the European leagues but via another league.  

Finally we were able to enjoy our morning dip in the ocean. Not too much wind and no rain. Perfect. 

We have been busy bees today – rented a trailer and got rid of all the cut branches and out-sorted things to throw away. Perfect. 

I did some laundry and got a pasta bolognese on the table in time for when the troops returned that went to the waste-disposal site. We could sit outside for dinner and remained seated there for a while after dinner to enjoy a glass of red. Perfect. 

No morning swim today for the second day in a row. This time due to heavy wind and high waves going over the dock. 13.5meter/sec – 30.19miles/hour. Better safe than sorry so we skipped it.

K’s friend arrived today and will stay until tomorrow and this afternoon my dad arrived with the bus from Stockholm so tonight we were a full table again. We decided to treat ourselves to some “kroppkakor” for dinner from Ninnis Kroppkaksbod. They are our favorite ones and didn’t disappoint. Mmm.

Tuesday so time for our “tisdagsmys” and “Allsång på Skansen”. Love traditions! Just need to digest the dinner a bit and then we are ready for the treats!

It was raining this morning so we skipped the morning dip in the ocean. But after a while it cleared up so we went for a nice 3k walk with my mom. 

This afternoon we have been busy working in the garden. We have trimmed some of the lilac bushes among other things. 

Grilled stek for dinner served with potato gratin and veggies. Our fridge plays tricks on us sometimes so the meat was a bit too cold and took ages to get ready to cook and serve. But, it turned out great! 

An amazing rainbow appeared as the rain and sun shared the sky and tonight we were treated a sunset. Lovely. 

A windy start of the day but then we had some sunny hours before the weather changed again into more wind and some rain. 

We went grocery shopping today and both my boys came along to help figuring out some suggestions on what to make for lunch. Perfect! 

Tonight we made our own burgers – mmm. But, we had to sit indoors due to the weather. Now we have watched a movie together before it is time ot hug our pillows. Fingers crossed it will not rain tomorrow morning – I would hate to miss out on the morning dip due to weather issues. 

A windy day and slightly warmer in the ocean this morning with 18.2C. 

My mom and I went for a walk before lunch while my niece and bil went to play some paddle. I made pancakes for lunch and now we have enjoyed the rest of the strawberry cake for our fika. 

Now we have played a game of Wingspan – my youngest won. It can be quite challenging with all the different instructions and advantages to choose between, but it is quite fun. Tonight we are going to bbq some chicken, if the weather lets us. 

Only three of us that went for the morning dip today since my father is away for a few days. Still around 17C and a bit windy but nice. 

Flag up for me and my oldest niece (and grandma) today as we celebrate “Christina” (although it is spelled with a K in our names day calendar). As our family tradition we always make a strawberry cake to celebrate this day. Mmm. 

This afternoon we celebrated some more with a bottle of champagne and some snacks before our youngsters treated us a taco dinner. Tonight we have watched “Project Hail Mary” together and now it is way past my bedtime. So – good night! 

A bit rainy this morning, but we defied the weather and took our morning dip in the ocean anyway. 17C today too – brrr. 

After breakfast we went grocery shopping – now we’re good for the next couple of days. My dad took the noon-bus back to the city. He is going to attend a track&field event over the weekend and will return on Tuesday again. This afternoon, my sister had friends over for an afternoon visit. 

Our water heater broke today so my hubby and youngest son went all the way down to Kalmar to get a new one. Typical and not great with the extra cost, but great that they found a replacement so quickly. 

Tonight me and my sis have attended the yearly meeting we have with all the property owners here in our paradise. It was a full house this time – great that so many are interested in what’s happening. 

This morning I was sound asleep when my alarm woke me up for our morning dip in the ocean. Usually I wake up by myself, but I guess I was extra tired today after the long and quite emotional day yesterday. 

It was 17C in the ocean – brrr. But, a nice morning and we went for a walk around the block after breakfast. 

This afternoon we stayed inside because it was raining for a couple of hours. So, we watched both Mamma Mia 1 and 2 – lol. My sister made pasta for dinner – mmm – and we ended the day with a couple of episodes of “Morden i Helsingör” (The Sommerdahl Murders). Now it is time for me to hug my pillow – new day tomorrow.
